Embroidered Candles Project for Christmas Gifts.

I have used simple embroidery designs for this project. 

You will need vilene soluble backing, organza to match the colour of the candle, and craft adhesive.

I embroidred the design on to the organza, backed with soluble vilene stabilizer.  I then cut very closely to the design cutting away the excess organza.  I then sprayed the back of the design, and stuck it to the candle.  I have used a Christmas tree design and the gold angel for my candles. 

I have been informed by Helen, one of my customers, that instead of spray adhesive, there is a product called Mod Podge, and this can be found from several outlets on the Internet. Thankyou for that information Helen.

I think these will make lovely additional Christmas gifts.
